Our featured bead store for this month is All About Beads & Crystals.
Proprietors Jennifer Morgan and Karen Jhonson opened All About Beads & Crystals in April of 2005. They are located in Pembroke Pines, Florida on Sheridan Street just east of the Florida Everglades. They're pretty far west but they have been told their prices are worth the drive.
They have had a great two years and think the world of our customers. They love to talk to customers from out of the area and hear about bead stores in their hometowns.
They came up with a unique concept in our store. They package everything that would normally be displayed loose in other stores. They use plastic hanging tubes for all of their crystals. This guarantees that they sell the crystals as they receive them from the distributor. And all silver and gold findings are packaged to prevent tarnishing and easy viewing.
They also make and display samples of jewelry that the customer can buy or copy.
They carry a full line of jewelry displays for displaying your jewelry at home-parties or craft shows.
All About Beads and Crystals works with local charities ie.. Relay for Life for Breast Cancer, Autism and local school fundraisers.
In addition to classes and parties their store hosts birthday parties for children and girl scout activity classes that meet the requirements for badges and tryits.
Last year they held their first annual Customer Jewelry Fair where customers were invited to set up tables outside and display their designs.
Store hours are Monday through Saturday 9 am to 9 pm and Sundays 11 am to 6 pm.
