New Year, New Look!
by Sara Hardin
A new year, is a great time to stimulate your wardrobe and accessories with a new look. As you make and hopefully keep your New Year's resolutions, to quit all bad habits and to exercise to work off all of those holiday treats that you ate, you should also take time to rejuvenate your style.
I'm seeing a lot of very simple accessories during this mid-winter season. In descending from the cloud of stress that surrounds us all during the holiday season, I think that it is important to us all to be a little more low key and low maintenance but still look great all the same. Try on an illusion style necklace or a simple wire wrap earring/bracelet set with your hip but comfy sweater and jeans.
Another great January idea is to only use one big accessory. For instance, choose a large ring and let the focus fall on your beautiful manicure. Or, choose a pair of fancy, dangly earrings and draw attention to your new haircut. The idea is to keep it simple but still make a statement!
Most of all, be creative and inventive as you start your new year. Life is too short to not take a chance and try out something new and fun.
