Our featured designer for this month is Lori Anderson.

Lori Anderson Designs started as a way for a stay-at-home mom to express her creativity amidst diapers and the Teletubbies. With a diverse work background that includes the Air Force, marketing and sales, and a degree in Biology from the University of Virginia, Lori has found her niche in the artisan jewelry world.

The company was created in 2003, and Lori began with the simplest of components, learning completely by trial and error. Her designs started selling when friends and family wore them - other people would stop them and ask, "Where did you get that?!?" That simple statement describes Lori's jewelry the best - she designs pieces that make people stop and ask how they can get one of their own.

Her designs range from the simply classic to the ultra-whimsical, and there's a price range for everyone. Lori uses art glass, semi-precious gemstones, pearls, vermeil, and sterling silver to create her designs. Each piece is designed entirely by hand by her, and she offers custom design services with each and every piece.
