Our featured designer for this month is Patti Beghtol
Hi there, my name is Patti Beghtol. I've been crafting and creating pretty much my entire life. My philosophy when it comes to creating is if you conceive it, make it. No matter what, if you have an idea to make something, do it. You can decide it doesn't work AFTER you've tried. I also believe in always learning, finding new techniques and new things to try.
In 2009, I decided to take some jewelry making classes at a bead show and have since become hooked. Among the first things I tried on my own were viking knit and chainmaile. I love these because with a few simple changes you have a wide range of results and they are very relaxing to work on. Recently I've been getting into working with metal and resin, though not necessarily at the same time. I have many ideas that I want to try out. (Now if only I had the time.)
I'm still quite a novice but I do hope to begin selling some of my creations in the 2010 Christmas holiday season at either a local craft fair or at the Etsy site I've recently established.
