Job Description
Seeking a highly visible Operations Coordinator with strong leadership skills who will develop a comprehensive strategic plan to expand distribution and sales. Our growing company is looking for a strategic innovator and creative problem solver who has full working knowledge of cost modeling and financial performance metrics. Responsibilities will include hands on management of personnel and full coordination of all department operations. Must be able to effectively communicate to all levels and successfully execute the approved strategic plan to meet objectives. The Operations Coordinator will represent all department operations and business perspectives with the owners of the Company. This will include tracking performance toward goals to facilitate timely decision making as well as modifications to the Company plan to ensure continued growth and success of Company operations.
The new Operations Coordinator will provide direction, supervision, coaching, and work guidance to Managers and staff to include the Marketing, Customer Service, Product Development, Procurement, and Warehouse functions. This leadership will include: Development of new products from concept and costing through technical implementation and production; implementing processes and metrics to help department managers maximize productivity; monitor and analyze key financial metrics to ensure continuous improvement; collect and prepare data to report the Company's performance at quarterly meetings.
Requirements
MBA preferred with 10+ years of experience in a consumer product and distribution environment. Direct operations management including Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and international sourcing. A working knowledge of procurement and finance functions. A demonstrated ability for successful planning and decision making.
