Instructions

Finished Size: 22"

Step 1: Use 3" of 20 gauge wire to form a 7mm spiral at one end of the wire. Hole the wire 3/4" from the spiral using the widest part of the round nose pliers and bend the wire back onto itself to form a hook. Make a small loop at the end of the wire.

Step 2: Place the hook on the anvil or bench block. Use the nylon hammer to work-harden the hook. Use the chasing hammer to carefully flatten the rounded edge of the hook and the spiral. Set hook aside.

Step 3: Use 4" of 24 gauge wire to form a wire-wrapped loop that attaches to the 10mm top-drilled round. Use the other end of the wire to form a wire-wrapped loop that attaches to the inside of the resin teardrop slice. Use 5" of 20 gauge wire to form a wire-wrapped loop that attaches to the top of the resin teardrop slice. Use the other end of the wire to form a wire-wrapped loop. Set aside.

Step 4: Use 6" of 24 gauge wire to form a wire-wrapped loop that attaches to one 12mm top-drilled round. String 1 orange fluted round and form a wire-wrapped loop. Repeat entire step once to make a second dangle. Set aside.

Step 5: Use 8" of 20 gauge wire to form a 6mm wire-wrapped loop that attaches to one dangle formed in Step 4, the final wire-wrapped loop formed in Step 3, and the other dangle from Step 4. String the ceramic tube and form a 6mm wire-wrapped loop.

Step 6: Use 3" of 20 gauge wire to form a wire-wrapped loop that attaches to the previous loop. String 1 blue round and form a wire-wrapped loop.

Step 7: Use 4" of 20 gauge wire to form a wire-wrapped loop that attaches to the previous loop. String 1 ceramic nut bead and form a wire-wrapped loop. Repeat Step 6.

Step 8: Use 3" of 20 gauge wire to form a wire-wrapped loop that attaches to the previous loop. String 1 orange fluted round and form a wire-wrapped loop. Repeat Step 6.

Step 9: Use 3" of 20 gauge wire to form a wire-wrapped loop that attaches to the previous loop. String 1 ceramic cube and form a wire-wrapped loop. Repeat Step 6. Repeat Step 8.

Step 10: Use 3" of 20-gauge wire to form a wire-wrapped loop that attaches to the previous loop. String 1 ceramic round and form a wire-wrapped loop. Repeat Step 6. Use 3" of 20 gauge wire to form a wire-wrapped loop that attaches to the previous loop. String 1 orange fluted round and form a wire-wrapped loop. Use 3" of 20 gauge wire to form a wire-wrapped loop that attaches to the previous loop. String 1 blue round and form a 6mm wire-wrapped loop that attaches to the spiral hook clasp formed in Step 1.

Step 11: Repeat Steps 6-9 for the other half of the necklace. Use 3" of 20-gauge wire to form a wire-wrapped loop that attaches to the previous loop. String 1 blue round and form a 6mm wire-wrapped loop.
