Step 1: Use cutters to cut round links of chain in order to remove entire oval links. Cut enough for 5 silver links and 6 copper links.

Step 2: Use the metal punch pliers to punch four holes in each link: two on each long side of the oval, making sure to punch the holes in about the same spots on each link.

Step 3: Use 2 jump rings (one per hole) to attach the ring half of the clasp to 1 copper link.

Step 4: Use 2 jump rings to attach the copper link to 1 silver link. Use 2 jump rings to attach the silver link to 1 copper link.

Step 5: Repeat Step 4 four times.

Step 6: Form two chains of 3 jump rings each. Attach one end of each chain to the final copper link. Attach the other end of each chain to the bar half of the clasp.
