Instructions

Finished Size: 18 3/4"

Step 1: Use 4 1/2" of beading wire to string 1 crimp tube and the snail charm. Pass back through the tube, leaving a loop of wire large enough for the charm to move around freely, and crimp. Cover the crimp tube with a crimp cover. Use the other end of the wire to string 1 bamboo bed and 1 crimp tube. Pass back through the tube, leaving a small loop of wire, and crimp. Set aside.

Step 2: Repeat Step 1 using the ladybug charm.

Step 3: Use the bead crimping pliers to close 1 crimp cover, forming a 3mm silver round bead. Set aside.

Step 4: Use 6" of beading wire to string 1 crimp tube and the mushroom charm. Pass back through the tube, leaving a loop of wire large enough for the charm to move around freely, and crimp. Cover the crimp tube with a crimp cover. Use the other end of the wire to string 1 bamboo bead, the silver round bead formed in Step 3, and the owl bead. Pass back through the tube, leaving a small loop of wire, and crimp. Set aside.

Step 5: Cut one 35" piece of beading wire and two 30" pieces of beading wire. Hold the wires together so that the end of the 35" wire is 2 1/2" long than the ends of the other two wires and place a Bead Stopper on the wire. Use the 35" wire to string 5 bamboo beads, the loop of wire formed in Step 2, 1 bamboo bead, the loop of wire formed in Step 4, 1 bamboo bead, the loop of wire formed in Step 1, and 5 bamboo beads. Place a Bead Stopper on the end of the wire.

Step 6: Braid the wires together for 2 1/2".

Step 7: Move 1 bamboo bead up to the braid.

Step 8: Braid the wires for about 3/4".

Step 9: Repeat Steps 7 and 8 three times. Repeat Step 7.

Step 10: Braid the wires for about 3/8". Move the snail dangle up to the braid. Braid the wires for about 3/8". Repeat Step 7.

Step 11: Repeat Step 10, using the owl dangle.

Step 12: Repeat Step 10, using the ladybug dangle.

Step 13: Repeat Steps 7 and 8 four times. Repeat Step 7. Repeat Step 6.

Step 14: Remove the Bead Stopper and use all three wires to string 1 crimp tube to the end of the braid. Measure the braid to be sure the crimp tube is 2 1/2" from the bamboo bead, and crimp. Trim the wire ends of the two 30" wires. Do not cut the 35" wire. Cover the crimp tube with a crimp cover. Use the remaining wire to string 1 crimp tube and one half of the clasp. Pass back through the tube, leaving a loop of wire large enough for the clasp to move freely, and crimp. Cover the tube with a crimp cover.

Step 15: Repeat Step 14 for the other half of the necklace.
