Instructions:

  1. This is a free form style of wire working. You can shape your bracelet according to your own artistic style. These instructions serve as a guideline, but you should allow your own creativity to ultimately decide what you would like the finished product to look like.
  2. Cut 2 pieces of 14g artistic wire - approximately 10 inches (depending on the length of the bracelet you would like to make. This is a little large on my wrist, and my wrist measures 6.5 inches around).
  3. Use the cup bur to file down the sharp edge you have from the cuts (any time you make a cut, employ the cup bur ).
  4. Use the round nose pliers to curl the ends of the wire into loops (see photo).
  5. Cut 30 inches of the 18g artistic wire, and wrap the two pieces together at point #1 about 8-10 times around.
  6. Place one quartz round, the 18 mm dicroic bead, then another round bead, and wrap around point #2, about 8-10 times around.
  7. Put a round qtz, a pear qtz, a round qtz, one 16mm dichroic bead, a round, a pear, a round, then wrap at point #3, 3-4 times around.
  8. Put 2 rounds, a 12mm dichroic bead, 2 rounds, then wrap at point #4. Note: Allow a little more space here, because you are going to wrap in between two rounds at instruction #10.
  9. From point #4, put on a round, a pear, a round, then wrap at point #5, 3-4 times.
  10. From point #5 to #6 you will have three rounds, make one wrap in between rounds on the strand going from point #3 to #4 (refer to photo).
  11. From #6 to #7 you will need 3 rounds, 1 pear, then 3 rounds. Wrap a couple of times inside the loop you made in instruction #4. From #7 to #8 you will need no beads.
  12. From #8 to #9 use 2 rounds, a pear, 2 rounds, then wrap about 8-9 times, and cut off any access wire.
  13. Cut another 24 inches of 20 gauge artistic wire, and start your wrap at point #10, 3-4 wraps. You are now doing the same thing you have just done, but on the other side of the bracelet. From #10 to #11 add round, pear, round, 16mm dichroic bead, round, pear, round. Wrap at #11.
  14. From #11 to #12, 2 rounds, 12mm dichroic, 2 rounds, wrap at #13.
  15. From #13 to #14, add three rounds, wrap once around the two round beads on the strand going from #11 to #12 (this is point #14)
  16. Then add 3 rounds, on pear, three rounds and wrap at point #15.
  17. Bring wire across the back of bracelet -without any beads-wrap at point #16 once or twice.
  18. Add 2 rounds, one pear, 2 rounds and wrap at point #17. I wrapped it 6-7 times to make contact with point #11 wrap. Cut off excess wire.
  19. Bend both ends to fit wrist-you can be finished at this point, or add more beads wherever you feel you need to.
  20. Optional beads Instructions:

  21. Cut 2 feet 22 gauge, wrap 3 times around point #4.
  22. Add round bead, then wrap once, going towards center of bracelet, coming up under wire. Repeat 5 more times, until your reach point #7. Wrap 3-4 times.
  23. Wrap around once the wire that leads from #7 to #8. Then add pear, round, pear, and wrap around on the other side.
  24. Add round, wrap. Repeat 2 more times, ending at point #17 - wrap 3-4 times and cut off at #11.
  25. Turn bracelet over and repeat instructions 20-23.
